gem / Oq EngineOpenQuake Engine: a software for Seismic Hazard and Risk Analysis
GeoscienceAustralia / TcrmA statistical-parametric model for assessing wind hazard from tropical cyclones
nasa / FmdtoolsSystem Resilience Modelling, Simulation, and Assessment in Python
TITAN2D / Titan2dThe TITAN2D toolkit is used for modeling of geophysical mass flows over natural terrain (volcanic flows, avalanches, landslides, ...).
GeoscienceAustralia / PthaProbabilistic Tsunami Hazard Assessment from major earthquake source-zones
VU-IVM / DamageScannerPython toolkit to do direct damage assessments for natural hazards
GFDRR / Rdl StandardThe Risk Data Library Standard (RDLS) is an open data standard to make it easier to work with disaster and climate risk data. It provides a common description of the data used and produced in risk assessments, including hazard, exposure, vulnerability, and modelled loss, or impact, data.
GeoscienceAustralia / HazimpHazard impact assessment tool
USEPA / HawcCaptures key data for health assessment of chemicals and other environmental hazards
e5k / TephraProbSet of Matlab functions for probabilistic hazard assessments of tephra accumulation
arnauddevie / Hazard Assessment CAS LookupThis Python project takes a text file with a list of CAS number for the chemicals in your inventory and scrapes Sigma-Aldrich website to retrieve a compilation of Hazard statements (e.g. H319), Precautionary statements (e.g. P120) and recommendations for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). It creates (4) HTML files, a folder with SDS PDF and (1) spreadsheet as a result.
sahil-punchhi / Earthquake PredictionTo predict the time that an earthquake will occur in a laboratory test using Scikit-Learn (Pedregosa et al. (2011), XGBoost (Chen & Guestrin, 2016) and LightGBM (Ke, et al., 2017) libraries for machine learning and support. The laboratory test applies shear forces to a sample of earth and rock containing a fault line. If the physics are ultimately shown to scale from the laboratory to the field, researchers will have the potential to improve earthquake hazard assessments that could save lives and billions of dollars in infrastructure. The metric used is Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and thus a lower value is better with zero representing a perfect fit.
openearth / LhatLandslide Hazard Assessment Tool (LHAT) is developed for rapid hazard assessment
INGV / ProbShakemapA Python toolbox for earthquake source uncertainty quantification and propagation
