Overview

SkillAgent (skillagent.dev) is a free discovery platform for AI agent skills. We do not require accounts and we do not sell personal data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how advertising works on the site.

What Data We Collect

We do not require accounts or collect names, emails, or addresses to browse. We may collect aggregated, non-identifying usage data (pages viewed, referrer, device type) via Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand traffic and improve the catalogue. GitHub is queried via our backend for public repository metadata — your GitHub token, if you use OAuth to submit a skill, is never exposed to the browser and is not used for advertising.

Data Sources

All skill information is sourced from public APIs (GitHub, npm, PyPI) and public repositories. We do not scrape private data.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use localStorage for theme preference (light/dark) only. We do not set first-party advertising cookies ourselves.

Advertising — Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to serve ads. Google uses cookies and similar identifiers (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, to limit ad frequency, and to measure ad performance. This may include personalized ads where you have consented, and non-personalized ads otherwise.

• Ads.txt: we publish an ads.txt file authorizing google.com, pub-9915853851886163.
• Opt-out: you can control personalized ads at adssettings.google.com and opt out of DoubleClick via Google’s opt-out page. You can also clear or block third-party cookies in your browser settings.

Where GDPR/ePrivacy or UK law requires consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland), we will request consent before serving personalized ads and will respect your choice (granted/refused) via Consent Mode. You can change your choice any time in your browser or via the consent banner when shown.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics (static.cloudflareinsights.com) may collect anonymized page views with no cross-site tracking cookies. This helps us understand which skills and tools are useful and does not involve ad personalization.
