SideFX Labs Examples

This repository hosts the example files, demo projects, and other learning contents created for SideFX Labs.

This allows us to reduce the download size for the GitHub releases of SideFX Labs, where you can access the full suite of SideFX Labs tools.

SideFX Labs

SideFX Labs is a free, open-source, and artist-friendly toolset developed by SideFX. It contains hundreds of Houdini Digital Assets (HDAs), various Python modules, game engine plugins, Houdini UI extensions, custom VEX functions, and more. The tools are developed outside the regular Houdini development cycle which makes them more accessible for testing and feedback.

Requirements

You need to install Houdini and SideFX Labs to use files hosted on this repository.

Important Note

You do not necessarily need the contents of this repository to use SideFX Labs.
