1. How do I install the client?

2. What launchers are supported?

Just HMCL. No help will be provided for any other launcher (because I can't be bothered!). As of release Simp 1.2

HMCL: ✅

Vanilla Launcher: ✅

Prism Launcher: ✅ (with proper fixing)

MultiMC: ❓

Pojav/Mojo Launcher: ✅ (use beta mojo launcher and set rendering to vulkan)

3. I have this error!

No one is obliged to help you. Make an issue or join the Discord.

4. Known bugs/errors:

No sound or crash on certain systems relating to SoundSystem.
Legit and Predictive auto block modes kicking in servers due to sending too many packets.
Latest HMCL not launching the client until skipping Java compatibility checks.

THESS BUGS WILL BE FIXED IN FUTURE VERSIONS! WE CANNOT FIX THEM NOW DUE TO UNKNOWN CAUSES OR LOSS OF TIME/FOCUS!

(if any more common bugs/errors are reported they will be added)

5. I've done all the steps but it keeps crashing!

Make sure you're using Java 22 if you're using a launcher like Prism or latest HMCL make sure you skip Java compatibility checks.

6. How do I get help with my error?

Post your crash log in the Discord help channel. If you get ignored its because your issue is that you didn't follow steps correctly or that it can be found in the FAQ.

This FAQ is incomplete if your problem is not on here use the Discord.

How to Build

Requirements

Java JDK 22 or higher
IDE of your preference (IntelliJ IDEA recommended)
Git

Steps

git clone https://github.com/shxzu/Simp.git
cd Simp

Open the project in your IDE.
Make a run directory
Create a new Run Configuration:
- Type: Application
- Main Class: (refer to screenshot below)
- Use classpath of module: Simp.main
Run the client.
