SambatWidget for Windows 🗓️

SambatWidget is a powerful calendar widget that's sure to make your life easier! With the ability to display Nepali dates, customize themes, and easily convert dates between Nepali and English.

✨ Features

🔁 Show Today

Quickly resets the view to show today's date — useful when navigating through previous or next dates.

📋 Copy Today

Copy the current Nepali date to your clipboard in various popular formats via a submenu. Handy for forms, documents, and everyday use.

🌐 Nepali Language Toggle

Switch the entire widget between English and Nepali language effortlessly.

🔒 Lock Position

Locks the widget’s position on screen to prevent accidental movement once placed where you want it.

🌫️ Allow Transparency

Enables a transparent background for a cleaner, more subtle appearance on your desktop. Note: Only works when the widget is collapsed, works great when you use this feature with "Free Positioning" to place it above the taskbar.

🆓 Free Positioning

Allows you to position the widget anywhere on screen, even above the taskbar. (Requires "Stick to Desktop" to be disabled.)

⚠️ Note: When enabled, the widget disappears while using full-screen applications.

📌 Stick to Desktop

Pins the widget to the desktop as the bottom-most window, ensuring it doesn’t interfere with your active windows or apps.

🕒 Show Timezone

Displays the selected time zone from Settings. If configured, it can also show the offset (e.g., -04:45) during collapsed state, indicating how far the zone is from your local time.

📉 Auto Collapse

Automatically collapses the widget to a compact form when it loses focus — minimizing distraction.

🚀 Autorun at Startup

Launches the widget automatically when Windows starts, so it's always available.

• Theme (Light/Dark)
• Time Zone and Offset
• Date Converter: Convert between Nepali and English dates seamlessly.

📦 Installation

Before downloading make sure you have .NET 6 Desktop Runtime installed on your PC.

• Download the .NET 6 Desktop Runtime.

🛠️ Download the latest version from the Releases section.

1. Extract the ZIP.
2. Run SambatWidget.exe.
3. (Optional) Enable "Autorun at Startup" for convenience.
