What is pyCMBS?

pyCMBS has two major objectives:

a) pyCMBS provides a suite of tools to process, analyze and visualize geoscientific data and climate model output. b) It has been explicitly designed to facilitate the benchmarking of scientific model output against each other or against observational reference data. It is in particular useful for analyzing in an efficient way output from climate model simulations.

Installation

pyCMBS can be installed in various ways:

  1. stable versions from source code
  2. stable versions using pip
  3. developer version: https://github.com/pygeo/pycmbs

The installation is easy, but not yet fully automatized. See the documentation for further installation details.
