Pomodoro is a watchOS and iOS app that sets focus timers using the Pomodoro Technique. The technique was developed by Francesco Cirillo in the '80s to enhance focus, increase decision awareness, boost motivation, and alleviate mental fatigue, among other benefits. Part of the technique is to break work into 25-minute intervals taking 5-minute breaks in between, then taking a more extended 30-minute break after 3-6 intervals.

With this app, I set out to make a highly polished, feature-rich app that I would find helpful in my own life. It’s App Store-ready, but unfortunately, it was rejected due to the saturation of the Pomodoro app category (not for any technical reasons).

• Set a sequential timer of up to 6 Pomodoro intervals that notify at each phase change
• Drag-and-drop tasks to label Pomodoro intervals
• Maintain a checklist of tasks and projects
• Track progress in a live activity (enabled through an external Rust service)
• View and scrub through timer progress
• Reflect on results with charts
• Track progress with iOS and watchOS widgets
• Settings to adjust work-rest-break time durations
