Ruby leet ( 1337 ) speak. Leet (or "1337"), also known as eleet or leetspeak, is an alternative alphabet for the English language that is used primarily on the Internet. It uses various combinations of ASCII characters to replace Latinate letters. For example, leet spellings of the word leet include 1337 and l33t; eleet may be spelled 31337 or 3l33t.

RubyLeetSpeak

Simple ruby leet (1337) speak implementation on String class.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'RubyLeetSpeak'
or
gem 'RubyLeetSpeak', '~> 0.3.0'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install RubyLeetSpeak

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
