🚀 Installation Guide

Stremio Add-on Installation

Stremio: Install Stremio from here
MediaFusion Community Instance: Navigate to MediaFusion ElfHosted and click on the 'Configure Add-on' button

Kodi Add-on Installation

Method 1: Install via Repository (Recommended)

Launch Kodi
Go to Settings (⚙️ gear icon) → File manager
Click on "Add source"
In the "Add file source" dialog, click <None> and enter exactly:

In the "Enter a name for this media source" field, enter MediaFusion and click "OK"
Go back to Kodi home screen
Click Add-ons
Click the Add-on browser (box icon)
Click "Install from zip file"
Click "MediaFusion"
Select the repository zip file (e.g., repository.mediafusion-4.1.1.zip)
Wait for the "MediaFusion Repository add-on installed" notification
Click "Install from repository"
Select "MediaFusion Repository"

If it says "Could not connect to repository", close Kodi and open it again and go to add-ons and start from step 13
Go to "Video add-ons"
Select "MediaFusion"
Click "Install"
Configure the add-on by going to Add-ons → My add-ons → Video add-ons → MediaFusion → Configure

Method 2: Manual Installation

Kodi: Install Kodi from here
MediaFusion Zip: Download the latest plugin.video.mediafusion.zip from releases
Launch Kodi
Go to Add-ons → Add-on browser (box icon) → Install from zip file
Navigate to the downloaded zip file and select it
Wait for the "MediaFusion add-on installed" notification
Configure the add-on by going to Add-ons → My add-ons → Video add-ons → MediaFusion → Configure

Note: Installing via repository (Method 1) is recommended as it enables automatic updates when new versions are released.

Desktop: Visit MediaFusion Torrent Uploader on Mozilla Add-ons

Click "Add to Firefox"
Configure your MediaFusion instance URL in the extension settings

Chrome/Edge (Manual Installation)

Note: Chrome Web Store version is pending review. Until approved:

Download the extension package from Releases
Extract the downloaded ZIP file (mediafusion-extension-chrome.zip)
Open Chrome/Edge and go to Extensions page (chrome://extensions/ or edge://extensions/)
Enable "Developer mode"
Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder
Configure your MediaFusion instance URL in the extension settings

Setting Up MediaFusion in Stremio

Visit MediaFusion ElfHosted
Configure your desired options
Install the addon using one of these methods:
- For Desktop/Mobile Stremio App Users:
  - Click "Install in Stremio" button
  - Stremio will open automatically with installation prompt
- For Web/iOS Users:
  - Click "Copy Manifest URL"
  - Open Stremio
  - Go to Addons
  - Click "+ Add Addon"
  - Paste the manifest URL
  - Click Install

Setting Up MediaFusion in Kodi

Navigate to MediaFusion settings in Kodi
Select "Configure/Reconfigure Secret String"
Access the configuration page through one of these methods:
- Scan the QR code
- Visit https://mediafusion.elfhosted.com/configure
- Open the configuration page directly from Kodi

Configure Addon Options

In the configuration page:
- Enable all necessary catalogs
- Turn on "Enable IMDb Meta Data Response"
Click on "Setup Kodi Addon"
Enter the 6-digit key shown in Kodi

If the key expires, click "Configure Secret" in Kodi settings to refresh it
Submit the configuration
Verify that the "secret string" value is populated
