Spring Boot, Google Cloud, Spring Web, OAuth 2.0, Rest API

Steps to Setup

1. Clone this repository

2. Authorize credentials for a Web Application in your Google Cloud

To authenticate as an end user and access user data in your app, you need to create one or more OAuth 2.0 Client IDs. A client ID is used to identify a single app to Google's OAuth servers.

In the Google Cloud console, go to Menu === APIs & Services > Credentials.

Click Here -> Access Credentials Menu

1. Click Create Credentials -> OAuth client ID.
2. Click Application type -> Web Application.
3. In the Name field, type a name for the credential. This name is only shown in the Google Cloud console.
4. In Authorized JavaScript origins click on ADD URI and add the HTTP origins that host your web application. For example (http://localhost:2424)
5. In Authorized redirect URIs click on ADD URI and add the redirect path. For example (http://localhost:2424/Callback)
6. Click Create. The OAuth client created screen appears, showing your new Client ID and Client secret.
7. Click OK. The newly created credential appears under OAuth 2.0 Client IDs.
8. Save the downloaded JSON file as credentials.json, and move the file to resources folder in your project.
9. Run the app using your IDE.

The origins and redirect path port, must not be the same as your local server port!!!

The app will start running at http://localhost:8080<br> The Swagger UI is running at: http://localhost:8080/swagger-ui/index.html
