Our assessment of llm
llm scores 45/100 on our quality scale, 922nd of 941 AI & Machine Learning skills we index.
Its Cursor Rules is 875 bytes long, lightly structured (1 heading) and no code examples: fairly brief, so expect to fill in details yourself.
It has no GitHub stars yet, so there is no community track record; judge it on its content.
Maintenance, license and trust
- The repository was last updated today, so llm is actively maintained.
- No license is declared. By default that means all rights are reserved: you can read it, but reusing or redistributing it is not clearly permitted. Ask the author before building on it commercially.
- Its trust signals score 80/100, with 2 cautions from licensing, adoption, age or documentation. These come from repository metadata, not a code audit — read the skill file before letting an agent act on it.

LLM provider package rules
When editing internal/llm:
- kprompt does not sell API keys. BYOK + optional local Ollama (
$0path). - No configured provider → stay unconfigured; do not silently default to OpenAI.
- Keys live in env (
KPROMPT_*/ vendor vars) or Team secrets pull — never write secrets into~/.kprompt/config.yamlor the repo. - New vendors: prefer OpenAI-compatible adapter + preset row; update
docs/providers.mdandkprompt inithelp. - Unit/CI paths use
stubprovider — tests must stay keyless. - Team
kp_…tokens are org policy/audit, not inference credentials. - Preserve honest Gemini free-tier / 429 messaging when touching Gemini paths.
- Run
go test ./internal/llm/after changes.
