Sakila sample database was ported to the following databases

Oracle SQL Server SQLIte Interbase/Firebird Microsoft Access PostgreSQL DB2 Exasol

by DB Software Laboratory http://www.etl-tools.com

Original Sakila for MySQL and Pagila are included as well for the user convinience. (Files to delete data and drop database objects were created DB Software Laboratory)

Background:

Sakila example database was originally developed by Mike Hillyer of the MySQL AB documentation team.

This project is designed to help database administrators to decide which database to use for development of new products The user can run the same SQL against different kind of databases and compare the performance
