Introduction
Biosphere is the most comfortable way to run chef-solo on your development Mac. It fetches your cookbooks (maintained by yourself or your team) and runs them locally.
The preference pane is designed to run without dependencies, it works as the first thing on a new Mac.
Features
What does Biosphere do?
- If Git is missing, Xcode Command Line Tools can be installed with a click
- If Chef is missing, it can be installed with a click
- Choose a set of cookbooks from a remote Git repository or a local folder
- Run your cookbooks with Chef Solo
Installation
Get the latest build here and double-click it.
Uninstallation
Right-click on the Preference Pane icon and choose "Remove".
