This is a Matlab package that implements the kernel local descriptor presented in "Multiple-Kernel Local-Patch Descriptor" at BMVC 2017 https://arxiv.org/pdf/1707.07825.pdf.

What is it?
This code implements:
- Extraction of our local descriptor
- Learning of the whitening with supervision
- Learning and evaluation on the Photo Tourism patch dataset
Execution
Run the following script to extract patch descriptor with a pre-computed configuration:
>> test_simple
Run the following script to extract descriptors, learn, and evaluate on the Photo Tourism dataset
>> test_phototourism
