Industrial project with InfoWave which developes: The GPS module will allow location data (longitude, latitude and even height co-ordinates) to be sent via GPRS to a back-end server. This information is then displayed using Google Maps. An application needs to be developed on Google App engine to enable this to occur on a near real-time basis. Applications of this type of technology include tracking of the elderly or small children. Once this is achieved, a complete turn-key software solution can be built to record, track, monitor and direct the delivery personnel to the customer drop-off points. Developed with: - JSP as backend server (JSON, Java) - Actionscript 3 as front-end for user interface - Flex framework and FusionChart library
