TLDW - Youtube Summary Generating Chrome Extension

Running the API

docker run -d -p 5000:5000 yousefhaggy/tldw

Installing the chrome extension

1. Clone this repository git clone https://github.com/YousefHaggy/tldw.git
2. Open the Chrome Extension Management page by navigating to chrome://extensions
3. Enable Developer mode using the toggle in top right corner
4. Click "LOAD UNPACKED"
5. Select the "Chrome Extension" directory from the cloned repo
6. Restart Chrome

Usage

After following the above steps, You should now see the chrome extension in your extension bar. Open youtube.com, find a video, click the extension, and generate a summary!
