dashdemux

GStreamer plugin allowing the playback of MPEG DASH streams.

This code is now obsolete, as the plugin has been merged into gst-plugins-bad: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=690555

The repository is kept here to keep track of what the code was before the merge, but it shouldn't be used beyond that: if you plan to play DASH streams in GStreamer, please go to http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/modules/gst-plugins-bad.html.

The plugin is based on some basic objects defined in the GStreamer HLS Demux plugin from the gst-plugins-bad module.

gst-plugins-bad 0.10.23

To build gst-dashdemux: ./autogen.sh ./configure ./make sudo make install

To launch gst-dashdemux:

gst-launch playbin2 uri=http://www-itec.uni-klu.ac.at/ftp/datasets/mmsys13/redbull_4sec.mpd
