Monotone KDE

A dark, monotonic theme for KDE Plasma 6. (basically the Monochrome theme with a few adjustments)

This theme was made with elements from Monochrome theme, Juxtopposed's Mystical-Blue-Theme, and a few custom ones.

Installation (Kvantum requried)

• color-schemes: ~/.local/share/color-schemes/
• desktoptheme: ~/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme/
• look-and-feel: ~/.local/share/plasma/look-and-feel/
• Kvantum: ~/.config/Kvantum/
• sddm: /usr/share/sddm/themes/

Then, go into System Settings > Colors & Themes

• Color: Monotone
• Application Style: Kvantum-dark
• Plasma Style: Monotone
• Window Decoration: Klassy
• Icon: Yet Another Monochrome Icon Set

If you want, you can change Splash screen and SDDM theme too.

• Splash: Monochrome
• SDDM: Monochrome

Configure Klassy

• In Window Decoration tab, click the edit button (pencil icon) on Klassy
• Click "Preset..." > "+ Add ..." > "Import from file"
• Choose "Monotone.klpw" or "Monotone-with-window-controls" in klassy preset folder, included in the cloned repo.
• Click "Load" and close

Configure Kvantum:

• Install and launch Kvantum
• Go to "Change/Delete Theme" tab
• Choose "Monotone" , likely to be at the bottom of the list
• Click "Use this theme"
• Restart plasma by: systemctl --user restart plasma-plasmashell
