Lowell Makes Sumo Bot follows the Unified Sumo Bot rules for Autonomous Mini Sumo Bot which can be read here: http://robogames.net/rules/all-sumo.php

In aaddition to the rules at the above link the following rules apply:

Cost

In addition to the kit provided, participants may add up to, but no more than, $50 worth of parts and materials to thier robots. Judges will have final say as to the value of added parts. The intention is to keep the competition fair for all.
