The 2016 DSRC PCAP Parser is a Python software wrapper service that converts ASN.1 UPER capsulated packet capture (PCAP) encoded CV data (i.e. BSM, PVD, messages) into JSON decoded files for downstream processing for additional data insights. The 2016 DSRC PCAP Parser enables a listener to process 2016 DSRC PCAP files uploaded into a folder by validating the files with an ASN.1, UPER and J2735 libraries and place the output JSON files in a separate folder for further processing steps such as database loads.
