Our assessment of hela-mcp-ecosystem
hela-mcp-ecosystem scores 81/100 on our quality scale, 2405th of 2,867 Automation skills we index.
Its MCP Server is 11 KB long, well organised into 19 sections with 8 code examples: a thorough specification that gives an agent plenty to work with.
It has 3 GitHub stars, so there is little community track record yet; judge it on its content.
Maintenance, license and trust
- The repository was last updated today, so hela-mcp-ecosystem is actively maintained.
- No license is declared. By default that means all rights are reserved: you can read it, but reusing or redistributing it is not clearly permitted. Ask the author before building on it commercially.
- Its trust signals score 80/100, with 2 cautions from licensing, adoption, age or documentation. These come from repository metadata, not a code audit — read the skill file before letting an agent act on it.

A modular, immortal cellular AI tooling ecosystem built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), engineered by Azzar to equip AI agents with full-spectrum autonomous capabilities across reasoning, persistent memory, workspace management, system execution, research, design, device automation, and 3D modeling.

Respectful Attribution & Metaphor
The HeLa MCP Ecosystem is named in respectful recognition of Henrietta Lacks (1920–1951) and the immortal scientific legacy of HeLa cells, which transformed global biomedical research. In this software architecture, HeLa serves as a cellular biology metaphor:
- Cellular Modularity: Just as biological cells contain specialized organelles coordinated by the nucleus and genome, the HeLa MCP Ecosystem deploys specialized tool servers coordinated by a dual backbone.
- Continuous Replicability & Immortality: Environments can be snapshot-pinned, reproduced deterministically on any machine, and restored cleanly without state degradation.
- Component Independence: Underlying repositories, technical package names, and Git commit histories remain autonomous and unaltered while functioning as a harmonious organism.
Dual-Backbone Architecture
Every profile in the HeLa ecosystem is anchored by two core backbone servers:

- HeLa Mitosis (
hela-mitosis): Cellular division and orchestration backbone. Handles dynamic tool routing, prompt decomposition, Needle-backed sequential reasoning (sequentialthinking/agent_run), and multi-tool planning. - HeLa Genome (
hela-genome): Cellular memory and state backbone. Maintains the persistent SQLite knowledge graph (memory.db), entity-relation tracking, session restoration, and project milestones.
