Installation

BRAT

1. Install Obsidian
2. Enable community plugins: Settings → Community Plugins → Turn on community plugins
3. Install BRAT
4. In BRAT settings, click Add Beta Plugin
5. Enter: Cursivez/journalit (Latest version)

Important disclosures

• Local-first core: core journaling works offline and stores your notes and trades inside your Obsidian vault.
• Account required for full access: a Journalit account is required for authentication-backed and subscription-gated features.
• Paid features: a paid Pro subscription is required for full access to Pro features such as MetaTrader sync and AI-assisted CSV mapping.
• Optional network use: the plugin only uses Journalit network services when you choose to use network-backed features. Signing in contacts Journalit services for email verification, token validation, and subscription status. If you then use authenticated features such as MetaTrader sync or AI-assisted CSV mapping, the plugin also connects to the Journalit backend API for sync coordination, trade retrieval, and optional AI mapping, and MetaTrader sync uses Journalit-managed FTP infrastructure for report uploads. Journalit may also request exchange rates from a third-party exchange-rate service when multi-currency conversion is needed. These network-backed features are opt-in.

This plugin is proprietary software. The compiled plugin files are distributed for use with Obsidian, but the source code is not available under an open source license.
